Early Edge Invited to Present at PK-3 ECE Community Circle Meeting

Early Edge California was invited to present at the PK-3 ECE Community Circle Meeting hosted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) via Zoom on Monday, October 30th. Our Director of Dual Language Learner (DLL) Programs, Carolyne Crolotte, was joined by Rachel Johnson, Child Development Co-Chair and Associate Faculty of Child Development at Ventura County Community College District.

The presentation began with an overview and context-setting on the importance of supporting Dual Language Learners. The team shared the Multilingual Learning Toolkit as an example of a quality resource for PK-3 practitioners and provided a brief walkthrough of the website. The team received an overall positive response during the meeting and will continue to work on developing the resources.

Early Edge is grateful for the opportunity to join CTC’s recent Community Circle Meeting and gain valuable input from its participants.
