Hispanic Heritage Month also known as Latino/a, Latine, or Latinx Heritage Month or Mes de la Herencia Hispana in Spanish is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th. The timing coincides with the Independence Day celebrations of various Latin American countries. Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the important contributions of Hispanic Americans and Latine/x individuals and communities in our society. To celebrate, Early Edge California has put together a collection of resources in English and Spanish to introduce you, your family, and/or the children in your care to the history, culture, and traditions of Hispanic Americans and Latine/x people.
