Celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month
June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month, a celebration of positivity, love, and acceptance. It’s a time to uplift the LGBTQ+ community in our nation by respecting people’s right to be who they choose and love who they want. Although progress has been made towards equality for LGBTQ+ youth, families, and individuals, in the present day they are still faced with judgment, discrimination, hate, and even violence. To uplift the LGBTQ+ community, Early Edge California has put together a list of various educational activities, informational resources, pride events, and more.
