“It is very important that parents can continue reading in their native language, which can be Spanish and also in English, both. It is very important to keep [speaking] Spanish at home as it also helps them speak English.
“Es muy importante que los padres puedan seguir leyendo en su idioma materno, que puede ser español y también en inglés, los dos. Es muy importante mantener el español en casa ya que también les ayuda a hablar inglés.”
