The Center For American Progress has released it’s annual series of fact sheets which examine early learning programs in each state including California. This 2019 version includes updates on child care costs, gaps in child care funding and access, wages for the child care workforce, and the benefits of policies that would expand access to affordable child care and preschool.
Policymakers and educators can use these fact sheets to identify opportunities for improvement and to highlight the benefits of investing in high-quality Early Learning programs.
