Our Executive Director Patricia Lozano has been appointed to the Early Childhood Policy Council’s (ECPC) Parent Advisory Committee, one of two standing advisory committees that provides recommendations to the council and other entities on all aspects of Early Learning. Recommendations from committee members are focused on equity, access, and best practices for engaging families; creating warm and welcoming care environments; and, how to develop local and state partnerships to support the best outcomes for families that interact with the state’s Early Learning system.
Patricia joins six other members on the committee and was appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly, Asm. Anthony Rendon. Read about the ECPC’s recent meeting, and learn more about the ECPC, which was formed to elevate the needs of young children and their families and advise the Governor, Legislature, and the Superintendent of Public Instruction on statewide early learning, care, and child development.
