Celebrating American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month
November is American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. It’s a time to celebrate the important contributions of Native people. In celebration, Early Edge California has put together a list of various resources to introduce you, your family, and/or the children in your care about the culture, traditions, and history of Native people.
We’d first like to honor the native lands that the Early Edge California office in Los Angeles, CA is located on in the territories of the Chumash, Tongva (Gabrieleno), and Fernandeño Tataviam tribes. You can use Native Land Digital to learn more about the native land you are on.
