Voices from the Field: Results from Early Learning Survey and Provider Focus Group

Early Edge and Child360 collaborated on an early care and education (ECE) survey, distributed in fall 2018 to Child360’s Los Angeles-based network of providers.
Results and key findings from the survey include:
- Higher reimbursement rates to increase staff salaries and reduce turnover
- Tuition stipends to help staff further their education, and
- Training and support for working with dual language learners and their families
These findings will help inform ECE policy and provide insight into the supports that the workforce needs to promote high-quality early learning experiences across all settings. Thank you to First 5 LA for supporting this important project!
