Early Edge Executive Director Patricia Lozano speaks with FOX 40 News about the closures of regional Head Start offices across the country including in California, and the immediate impact this has on families of infants and toddlers.
“Head Start is for parents who can’t afford child care, so if you take that away, then these parents are not going to have an option for child care. So it’s terrible for families who need it the most. We’re really concerned, especially for those who have babies and toddlers, when it’s already so hard to find child care.”
