In time for back-to-school, Early Edge California Executive Director Patricia Lozano spoke with Univision 14 San Francisco on how parents can support their children who are learning English, even if they don’t speak it themselves. She emphasized that the most important thing for Dual Language Learners (DLLs) is to engage with them in their home language as they are learning English.
