Early Edge Executive Director Patricia Lozano responds to new findings in a report about the impacts on statewide preschool closures from UC Berkeley’s Equity and Excellence in Early Childhood (E3C).
“No single program tells the whole story,” said Patricia Lozano, director of the advocacy group Early Edge California. She suggested giving public funds to help more community-based programs pivot to serving babies and toddlers “to make sure no one is left behind.”
