Home-Based Child Care Information and Policy Recommendations from Home Grown

Home Grown, a national collaborative of funders committed to improving the quality of and access to home-based child care, has created a suite of materials with helpful information about home-based care, which includes Family Child Care (FCC) homes and Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) providers. Read their fact sheet for an introduction on who qualifies as a home-based child care provider in the US and the challenges providers face in light of COVID-19, and learn more about their policy recommendations and proposed funding strategies for supporting home-based providers.
